Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After carrying out the flag ceremony to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in the courtyard of Griya Agung. Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Elen Setiadi along with Acting Chairperson of the TP PKK of South Sumatra Province, Melza Elen Setiadi virtually witnessed the Ceremony of the 79th Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024 at Griya Agung (Saturday, 17/8/2024).
The ceremony was carried out in two different locations, namely in the State Capital (IKN) led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo as the Ceremony Inspector and at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta led by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. (H.C.) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin as the Ceremony Inspector.
Jokowi looked dashing accompanied by the First Lady, Hj. Iriana wearing traditional Kustin clothes typical of Kutai, East Kalimantan (Kaltim) with black and gold nuances, making the invited guests who attended amazed by the beauty that radiated.
Not much different, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and his wife, Mrs. Wury Ma’ruf Amin, also looked elegant when entering the flag ceremony location held at the Jakarta State Palace wearing traditional Pontianak, West Kalimantan clothing from the Sambas Malay Tribe.
Although the ceremony was held in two different locations, the activity was carried out at the same time and ran smoothly and solemnly without any obstacles whatsoever.
The ceremony was also enlivened by various activities, one of which was an attraction carried out by the TNI when firing cannons several times towards the sky.
Also present were the Forkopimda Officials of South Sumatra Province, and the Heads of OPDs of South Sumatra Province. (ojn/ril)
