Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Andie Dinialdie, appreciated the implementation of the Ramadan Tausiah and Breaking the Fast Together held by PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. (SMBR) at Ganesha Arena, Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKU), Friday (13/3/2026).
Andie assessed that the activity, themed “Spreading the Blessings of Ramadan, Strengthening Faith and Togetherness,” is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to strengthening spiritual values while maintaining harmonious relations between management, employees, the government, and the community.
According to Andie, the momentum of Ramadan should be utilized not only to improve the quality of worship, but also to strengthen ties and build positive synergies between the business world and stakeholders in the region.
“Activities like this are very positive. Besides strengthening religious values, they also strengthen the relationship between companies, the government, and the community,” said Andie.
He believes the role of regional companies like Semen Baturaja is highly strategic, not only in driving economic growth but also in building a harmonious social climate. Therefore, the South Sumatra Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) supports various activities that strengthen togetherness and spiritual values in the workplace.
On that occasion, a Ramadan sermon was delivered by Ustadz Abdul Somad who invited all attendees to make the holy month a momentum to strengthen faith, increase social awareness, and strengthen Islamic brotherhood.
Andie hopes that similar activities can continue to be carried out sustainably as part of efforts to build character and togetherness within the South Sumatran community.
The event then continued with a joint prayer and breaking the fast together which was solemn and full of warmth. (mhn/ril)
