PALEMBANG, The Indonesia Post – After previously being awarded an innovative regional head in the economic category from Koran Sindo (MNC Group), now the active role of South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru in carrying out infrastructure development and restoring the glory of South Sumatra as a food storage area in South Sumatra, is reaping the same thing.
Evidently, the number one person in Bumi Sriwijaya was again crowned and awarded as the Innovative Governor in building infrastructure and returning agricultural barns in South Sumatra at the 2020 Kompas Gramedia Award.
The award was given to coincide with the anniversary of the Sriwijaya Post (Kompas Group) Daily Newspaper which was held virtually, Monday (12/10) night.
“We thank you for this award. Of course this award will further spur us, especially the South Sumatra Provincial Government, to be more enthusiastic in developing this South Sumatra,” said HD.
Even so, he also advised Kompas Gramedia, especially the Sriwijaya Post, not to leave the newspaper that had been raising his name.
“My advice, Sriwijaya Post, don’t leave the newspaper, even in this digital era. We just have to adjust to market needs. Because this newspaper is a source of pride to get information. Newspapers are important things in society,” he said.
It is known, on display of the 2020 Kompas Gramedia Award, the assessment team from the Sriwijaya Post together with the Sumsel Tribun and the 2020 Sumsel Kompas Gramedia Award team decided to award awards to 47 winners in 17 categories.
In fact, the Chairperson of the TP PKK for South Sumatra Province Hj Febrita Lustia Herman Deru was also given an award in the category of the Head of the PKK TP who cares for poor families affected by Covid-19.
“This award will also be our encouragement in providing assistance to the community and hopefully TP PKK can continue to contribute to the progress of South Sumatra. Not to forget, we also wish Sriwijaya Post a happy birthday,” said Feby.
In addition, the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital also received an award in the category of Covid-19 Response Hospital.
Not only that, the event was also attended by Regents / Mayors in 17 City Districts as well as 3 election administering institutions, 14 state institutions and 12 private companies. The guests who attended were also known to have received an award from the 2020 Kompas Gramedia Award. (ojn/ril)
