Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that buying domestically made products is an act of patriotism that deserves to be done.
“We start from loving Indonesian products, proud to be made in Indonesia, to buying made in Indonesia. So, modern patriotism is by buying Indonesian products, “the Minister of Industry told Antara in Jakarta, Friday.
The Minister of Industry said that the national industry has been able to produce various goods needed by the community, ranging from bicycles, cars, motorbikes, to pharmaceutical products.
In addition, petrochemical products produced by domestic industries are also able to compete in the global arena.
This indicates that products made by the nation’s children should be given the opportunity to grow and develop in their own country.
“So, give the domestic industry the opportunity to grow with a simple note, buying domestic products is a patriot action,” said the Minister of Industry.
The things that were conveyed by the Minister of Industry were in line with the program echoed by President Joko Widodo, namely Proud to be Made in Indonesia.
Proud to be Made in Indonesia is a national movement in the form of mutual cooperation to encourage the use of local products.
Through this program, business actors, both small, micro, medium and large, together with the government and all Indonesian people are expected to be involved in the program, so that they can achieve the expected results. (jek/bbs)
