Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra and Chairman of the Regional Advisory Council of the South Sumatra Scout Movement, H. Herman Deru attended and opened the VIII Regional Jamboree of the South Sumatra Scout Movement. Located at Sriwijaya Scout Campground.
A total of 1114 best-raising scout participants were delegates from the Kwartir Branch of the Scout Movement throughout South Sumatra. Who participated in the VIII Regional Jamboree.
Taking the slogan “Great Scouts of the Golden Generation” this Regional Jamboree coincides with National Teacher’s Day, taking place from November 25 to 30, 2021, at the Kwartir Campground of the Gandus Scout Movement.
Herman Deru gave high appreciation to the Regional Quarters of the South Sumatra Scout Movement for holding the VIII Regional Jamboree in Palembang.
“I feel proud and give high appreciation to the organizers, especially the Regional Quarter of the South Sumatra Scout Movement, as well as to the younger siblings who participated in this Jamboree, especially since this is a meeting place for the best Raising Scouts in South Sumatra,” he said.
In his direction, Herman Deru instructed the VIII Regional Jamboree to proceed in a conducive manner in accordance with the procedures for the scout activity agenda.
“My sister asked that this Jamboree run in a conducive manner according to the scheduled agenda, especially in this Jamboree, there are many physical activities. Of course, I ask all supervisors from each region and kwanda to pay close attention to this,” he added
