South Sumatra Legislative Council Holds Booster Vaccines for 300 People

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD) (South Sumatra) in collaboration with the South Sumatra Health Service (Dinkes) and the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, held booster vaccines for Phyzer and Astra Zeneca in the South Sumatra DPRD office yard, Monday (14/2).

The vaccine event was held after the XLVI plenary meeting with the agenda of listening to the South Sumatra Governor’s explanation of the four Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) at the suggestion of the executive or from the South Sumatra Provincial Government, Monday (14/2) in the South Sumatra DPRD plenary meeting room.

The head of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj RA Anita Noeringhati, accompanied by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra, Mawardi Yahya, visited the location of the booster vaccine.

The chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj RA Anita Noeringhati, said the booster vaccine was intended for the leadership and members of the South Sumatra DPRD, including South Sumatra DPRD employees, drivers for South Sumatra DPRD members and journalists at the South Sumatra DPRD desk.

“Because we asked for about 300 vaccines for 300 people, because we think this booster is very important, even after the booster we still maintain the progress, especially at this time Covid-19 is increasing, while Omicron is very fast transmission, only 1 X 24 hours, even though we are already on the booster, we still have to maintain the progress,” she said.

This Golkar Party politician hopes that with this booster the body’s immune system is stronger.

“If people really want a vaccine in the DPRD’s yard, I ask the Secretary of State to prepare it, I ask the South Sumatra Health Office in collaboration with the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, if indeed people can vaccinate here because the second vaccine here is also prepared. aware about vaccines because they protect us, even though getting Omicron is not as hard as if we haven’t been vaccinated,” she said while admitting that she had been given a booster vaccine.
