Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), RA Anita Noeringhati, together with elements of the South Sumatra Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) held an honorary ceremony and sacred reflection ahead of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the Heroes Cemetery (TMP) of the Ksetra Siguntang Heroes, Palembang. Tuesday, 16/8/2022.
Sacred meditation led by the Head of the Palembang High Court, Dr. Moh Eka Kartika, as a form of respect for the heroes of the struggle for independence who died in the struggle for the independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
The salute and the night of holy meditation began with the reading of the sacred devotional text by the apple inspector, followed by a moment of silence and lighting of torches, placing of wreaths and ending with the reading of prayers.
The ceremony of honor and sacred reflection is the beginning of a series of events to commemorate the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. (ojn/ril)
