Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) conducted a review of the repair of the Palembang Kayuagung Toll Road and Preparations for Facing Homecoming Flows at the Waskita Sriwijaya Toll Office, Pemulutan Ilir Village, Kec. Pemulutan Kab. Ogan Ilir.
Starting his visit, HD inspected the CCTV room and VMS Monitoring System in the Office, after visually observing the road repairs carried out through a monitor screen, then HD and accompanying officials directly observed the condition of the Palembang Kayu Agung Toll road repair.
This activity is carried out by HD in order to ensure the readiness of the toll road as well as the safety and comfort of road users when traveling back and forth later.
“The average homecoming and return traffic later, mostly urban cars are driven, I hope this can prepare the way to overcome it so that there is no damage to the user’s car or the occurrence of an accident, because there have been many complaints reported,” said HD to the Technical Director of PT . Waskita Sriwijaya Tol, Sudirman Saleh.
Meanwhile, Sudirman Saleh explained that the repairs carried out will ensure that toll road users are ready to use them when they go home for Eid in safe and comfortable conditions.
“We will add 4 exit toll gates and 3 entry toll gates later. D -10 Eid we ensure that travelers will pass the toll road comfortably,” he said. (mhn/ril)
