Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., together with the Chairperson of the Golkar Party Fraction, Ms. Nadia Basjir, SE., and Commission V Secretary, Mr. H. David Hardianto Aljufri, SH., Accepted the Peace Action of the South Sumatran Justitia Indonesia Work Movement (GKJI) with the Community Upang Village, Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency, in the courtyard of the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra. Friday (26/5/2023).
During the action, GKJI Sumsel said that the Upang Village Community Plasma had not received any harvests since 2016 until now from PT. Transpacific Agro Industry,
so that the people of Upang Village demanded to revoke PT. Transpacific Agro Industry if it is not able to realize the Plasma Rights of the people of Upang Village, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.
Responding to these demands, the Chairperson of the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra will immediately coordinate with all Commissions in DPRD Prov. Sumsel to follow up on this problem with PT. Transpacific Agro Industry. (ojn/ril)
