Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Palembang City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) held its 16th Plenary Session of the First Session Period. The agenda focused on presenting the report regarding the deliberation of the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the Amendment to the Palembang City Regional Budget (APBD) for the 2026 Fiscal Year, as well as securing a joint agreement on the matter.

The plenary session, held at the Palembang City DPRD building, was attended by the leadership and members of the Palembang City DPRD alongside representatives from the Palembang City Government.

During the meeting, the DPRD presented the results of its deliberations on the Draft Regional Regulation concerning the 2026 Fiscal Year APBD amendment. These deliberations were conducted as part of the local governance process, specifically to ensure that budgetary policy adjustments align with regional development needs and priorities.

The session proceeded with the formalization of a joint agreement between the Palembang City DPRD and the Palembang City Government regarding the Draft Regional Regulation on the 2026 Fiscal Year APBD amendment.

The joint agreement process was marked by the signing of documents by representatives of the DPRD and the Palembang City Government, witnessed by DPRD leadership and relevant officials.

With this joint agreement, the process of enacting the Regional Regulation on the 2026 Fiscal Year APBD amendment will now move to the next stage in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The deliberation and approval of the APBD amendment are crucial steps in ensuring that the implementation of Palembang City Government programs and activities aligns with development policy directions and the needs of the community.
