Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the South Sumatra Province Legislative Council (DPRD) Dr. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., received an audience from the Jaran Kepang Arts and Culture Association (PERJAKEP) Palembang, at the Office of the Chair of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Friday, (5/7/2024).
This warm meeting highlighted the close relationship between legislative leaders and local cultural representatives. Anita Noeringhati welcomed the presence of representatives of the South Sumatra DPD Perjakep and expressed her commitment to supporting the development of arts and culture in this province.
On this occasion, Mrs. Anita Noeringhati said that art and culture have an important role in strengthening the identity and diversity of South Sumatra society.
“I am committed to continuing to support and advance all forms of cultural expression, including traditional arts such as Jaran Kepang,” he said. (ojn/ril)
