HD: Ongoing Collaboration between the South Sumatra Provincial Government and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office Optimizes the Management and Utilization of Regional Assets

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration between the South Sumatra Provincial Government and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office in optimizing the management and utilization of regional assets. He made this statement while attending a Coordination Meeting on Achieving Synergy Between Regional Governments and the Prosecutor’s Office in Utilizing Regional Assets, held at Griya Agung Palembang on Monday (October 20, 2025).

In the warm meeting, HD and the South Sumatra Provincial Government officials discussed directly with the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Yulianto, SH, MH, and his staff regarding the achievement of the return of a number of regional assets that have been fought for by the High Prosecutor’s Office.

“We have frequently discussed this asset issue with the South Sumatra Provincial Government and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office. I greatly appreciate the Prosecutor’s Office’s hard work in fighting for the return of regional assets to the South Sumatra Provincial Government,” said Herman Deru.

The Governor also requested that all assets, both those that have been returned and those still in the process of being resolved, be recorded in detail. He stated that the existence of a list and nomenclature of assets will be a crucial basis for future management and utilization.

In addition to discussing assets, Governor Herman Deru also touched on the South Sumatra Provincial Government’s commitment to continuing to develop the Health Tourism sector as a strategic step to encourage a sustainable regional economy.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Yulianto, SH, MH, stated that his office continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the resolution of government assets, including reclaimed land belonging to the South Sumatra Provincial Government in the Jakabaring area.
