Eight Students Represent Indonesia in The “International Water Challenge”

The Indonesia Post – A total of eight students are entitled to represent Indonesia in the “International Water Challenge” which was initiated by Invent Future Global (IF.G) as a form of participation and taking part in solving world problems.

“Students who are selected are those who are considered to have empathy, desire, enthusiasm and creativity to contribute to changing the world,” said Chief Creative Officer of Krya, Liza Stephanie.

IF.G is an international association of organizations focused on innovation and discovery with the same goal of connecting students to develop skills in problem-solving, innovation, discovery, global awareness, and international collaboration.

Participating students are aged 9 to 18 years who have registered themselves in the IF.G Organization of their respective countries, and in this case, Indonesia is represented by Krya, the youth creativity and innovation development organization.

The eight students from Indonesia, namely Clayton SN, Handika AD., Victor Fu, Nadine S, Heinrich NS, Azarel CS, Ramses WH, and Axel J.

A total of 85 participants from 15 countries took part, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, China, Britain, the United States, Canada, Syria, Chile, Mexico, Sweden, Qatar, and Egypt.

On this occasion, the students were selected to discuss and collaborate to identify problems and find common solutions to the problem of drinking water around the world.

Meanwhile, “IF.G Water Challenge” is a series of three interactive and online international meeting sessions that all focus on certain global issues as determined by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations.

In 2021, the theme chosen is “Clear Water and Sanitation” and will take place virtually with the materials being “Problem Identification and Sharing” on January 30, “Brainstorming and Scamper” on February 27, and “Final Presentation Pitch” on March 20. (icn/bbs)
