Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh expressed deep concern over the tragedy that befell the submarine KRI Nanggala 402 in Bali waters. Surya hopes that all of the submarine crew will be safe, and the families of the crew members, as well as the big family of the Indonesian Military (TNI), will be given strength and fortitude.
“On this occasion, the NasDem Party family and I convey our deep concern over the tragedy that befell KRI Nanggala 402. Let us pray together that the search process that is currently being carried out produces good results,” said Surya Paloh in his press statement, Saturday (24/4) night.
Surya also hopes that at the same time invites all components of the nation to pray for the safety of all crew (ABK) or Indonesian Navy soldiers who are currently on the submarine. “We hope and pray that all 53 crew members on the Nanggala 402 submarine can be found safe,” he said.
To the families of soldiers or ABK who are in Nanggala 402 as well as the big family of the TNI. Surya wishes them all strength and fortitude. “May God Almighty give strength and fortitude to all members of the ABK family and the TNI extended family,” said Surya.
I think strengthening the TNI family and extended family. They are the nation’s best sons and daughters.
Surya also appreciated the efforts of the search and rescue (SAR) operation team from various parties, including the involvement of assistance from friendly countries, which had worked optimally to search and rescue KRI Nanggala 402.
As is known, the search for the Nanggala 402 submarine has been upgraded, from the submiss phase (lost position) to the subsunk phase (receding / sinking / sinking). The submarine made in Germany in 1978 was carrying 53 of the best Indonesian Navy soldiers. (ray/bbs)
