Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – Political observer Arif Nurul Imam said the results of the survey on the performance of national figure Prabowo Subianto were purely public perceptions that gave positive sentiments.
“The results of the Kompas R&D survey are of course the public’s perception or assessment of the three figures. In this case, Prabowo Subianto has the highest positive sentiment, beating Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan,” he said in Jakarta, Friday.
The results of the Kompas Research and Development survey that monitored netizen interactions on social media and digital mass media coverage on 17-23 May 2022 stated that Prabowo Subianto had the highest positive sentiment, followed by Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan.
The director of IndoStrategi Research and Consulting explained that the data showed that Prabowo, in addition to having the highest positive sentiment, also had the lowest negative sentiment when compared to Anies or Ganjar.
From the survey results, Prabowo obtained positive sentiments of 28.2 percent and negative sentiments of 9.2 percent. Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo had 20.7 percent positive sentiment and 12.7 negative sentiment, while Anies earned 21.5 percent positive sentiment and 20.4 percent negative sentiment.
As data that captures people’s perceptions, according to him, of course it is an added value for Prabowo, perhaps because he appreciates his performance and track record.
“The data depicts Prabowo in front of the public positively because he could be considered to have a good performance, apart from not being too sloppy in building his image,” he asserted. (ojn/bbs)
