Musirawas, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) accompanied by the Chairperson of the TP PKK of South Sumatra Province, Hj. Feby Herman Deru attended the Special Plenary Meeting of the Musi Rawas Regency DPRD in the context of the 82nd anniversary of Musi Rawas Regency at the Musi Rawas Regency DPRD Building (Tuesday, 4/29/2025). The meeting was opened by the Chairperson of the Mura Regency DPRD, Firdaus, SE, M.IKom
In his remarks, HD assessed that the performance carried out by the Regent of Musi Rawas in the previous period was quite good. Therefore, he hopes that the Regent of Musi Rawas, Ir. HJ. Ratna Machmud can maintain and improve this performance in developing the Musi Rawas area for the welfare of the community.
“As governor, I have a telescope to see the performance of the Regent and Deputy Regent, Mayor and Deputy Mayor throughout South Sumatra. So in her leadership in the previous period, Mrs. Ratna was a great person in running the government, I hope this can continue to be maintained and improved,” said HD.
In continuing the development, HD advised the Regent of Musi Rawas, Ir. HJ. Ratna Machmud to maintain unity because it is a very important thing as capital in carrying out development in the region.
“As governor, of course, I will always pay attention according to the needs of the region and appreciate the achievements obtained. I also advise that the unity between the Regent, Deputy Regent and DPRD can continue to be maintained in carrying out development in the region and be able to construct the use of the budget so that it can benefit the community,” said HD.
HD also appealed to the Musi Rawas Regency Government to be able to provide jobs for the Musi Rawas community who do not have to become ASN or employees but can channelize by becoming entrepreneurs from the smallest things. Such as training for welders, cellphone repairmen and make-up artists (MUA). (mhn/ril)
