Last year Pogba stole the attention, especially from Muslim fans. Exactly the month of Ramadan last year, the former Juventus midfielder performed the Umrah service in Mecca, a holy land for Muslims.
The service he performed with Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma and other colleagues he later uploaded on his Instagram account.

In an interview with The Times in the Podcast program, Pogba admitted that he had just become a convert. The player also talked about the journey of life to feel the love with Islam.
The mother, Yeo Moriba, is a Muslim immigrant woman from Congo. Although Yeo is a Muslim, Pogba claims that his mother never raised him with Islamic teachings.
“This is a good change for me because I am not a Muslim from birth even though my mother is the season from birth.”

Pogba then said that the source of his inspiration was to know Islam more deeply, so he was interested in adopting a religion.
