Feby Deru Will Soon Present Library at Kriya Sriwijaya

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairman of the South Sumatra Province (Sumsel) Dekranasda Febrita Lustia Herman Deru said that in the near future Kriya Sriwijaya will soon have a library. Where the library is intended for visitors who attend to find out the philosophy of all the craftsmen’s results in Sriwijaya Craft.

This was conveyed by her after attending the Opening of the 2020 series 1 of Indonesian creative works and the flagship craft exhibition of Bank Indonesia fostered UMKM, virtually at the Sriwijaya Craft Building, Friday (28/8).

“We made a library of Sriwijaya crafts. The contents are songket in South Sumatra Province and handicrafts in South Sumatra Province. So in the future, visitors who don’t know will be able to know the philosophy about crafts in South Sumatra Province. Sriwijaya craft is open from Monday to Saturday and 10 to 5 in the afternoon, “she said

Feby also thanked Bank Indonesia for actively contributing to the development of innovative, productive, and highly competitive MSMEs.

“Bank Indonesia has also provided support and contributions to Kriya Sriwijaya, a center for education, exhibitions, and marketing of superior handicraft products for South Sumatra UMKM. We hope that Bank Indonesia can continue to assist in the fostering and development of MSMEs, so that the economic growth and welfare of the people of South Sumatra can continue to increase, “she said.

To note, Bank Indonesia (BI) held the 2020 Series I Creative Works of Indonesia (KKI) which was attended by 377 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Bank Indonesia fostered consists of 127 cloth craftsmen, 132 food and beverage entrepreneurs, 74 craftsmen, and 44 coffee MSMEs.
