Bandarlampung, The Indonesia Post – Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto promised to find a solution to the lack of bulk cooking oil availability in Lampung Province.
“Earlier, there was a shop trader inside who complained about the difficulty in getting bulk cooking oil supplies,” said Airlangga in Bandarlampung, Saturday.
He also promised to find a solution when responding to the complaints of traders at the Kangkung Market, Bandarlampung City.
“Later we will find a solution for the supply of bulk cooking oil, while it will be available for non-bulk,” he said.
According to him, for the availability of cooking oil on the market, it is hoped that the supply and price can be maintained.
“Today there has been a market operation carried out by the Lampung Provincial Government, BUMN through Bulog, and private companies. It is hoped that the public can enjoy cooking oil at an affordable price of Rp. 14 thousand per liter,” he said.
The guaranteed supply of packaged cooking oil was also said by Director of PT Sungai Budi Group (CV Bumi Waras) Benny Susanto as a cooking oil company in Lampung.
“Today there are 5,000 liters of cooking oil that we distribute to residents through market operations,” said Benny.
He said his party would continue to maintain the supply and stability of cooking oil prices in the market.
“We are ready to supply packaged cooking oil to the market, if there is a shortage, we are ready to provide it,” he said.
In the past few days, many traders and MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City have complained about the lack of cooking oil in the market.
Related to this, the Lampung Provincial Government carried out market operations at Kangkung Market, Bandarlampung City, to maintain supply stability and prices for various basic commodities, including providing 5,000 liters of packaged cooking oil at a price of Rp. 14 thousand per liter. (ojn/bbs)
