Covid-19 Victims Increase to 181 people

JAKARTA, TheIndonesiaPost – The death toll from the Corona COVID-19 Virus in Indonesia continues to grow. Friday (3/4/2020) afternoon, the positive patient death toll reached 181, from 170 the day before. Meanwhile, confirmed victims treated because COVID reached 1,986 people. That number also increased from the previous day which amounted to 1,790 people.

Government Spokesperson for COVID-19 Handling Achmad Yurianto said his party had updated data on fatalities from the COVID-19 virus from all regions in the country. The current situation in Indonesia is more than 7,425 specimens that have been received by the central government. Of that number, at least 1,508 people were cases of treatment.

In Indonesia, the government spokesman continued, at least nine provinces had already made transmissions. The nine provinces are DKI Jakarta, West Java (Bogor Regency, Karawang Regency, Bogor City, Bandung City, Bekasi City and Depok City), Central Java (Surakarta City), East Java (Kediri Regency, Malang Regency, Sidoarjo Regency, Magetan Regency, Surabaya City), Banten (Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, South Tangerang City), West Kalimantan (Pontianak City), South Kalimantan (Banjarmasin City), East Kalimantan (Samarinda Samarinda City), and Sulawesi Selatan (Makassar City).
