“I hope that the economy can revive so that tourism in Yogyakarta can revive and grow the economy in Yogyakarta, especially in the city of Yogyakarta,” said the President, who was observing the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination in Yogyakarta.

The President assessed that the vaccination process for traders at Beringharjo Market is running smoothly. Likewise, vaccinations for street vendors, business actors, shopkeepers, employees in the area of ​​Jalan Malioboro to Yogyakarta Square.

“In total there are 19,900 and we hope this will be resolved soon,” he said.

Yogyakarta Mayor Haryadi Suyuti said market traders and business actors in the Malioboro area should receive vaccinations first because they interact directly with residents and tourists from various regions on a daily basis.
