Watching Journalists Vaccinations, HD: Speaking Out to the Public, Vaccinations Make Your Self Confident

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) filled his holiday by observing the vaccination activities for public relations personnel at the Siti Fatimah Hospital, Palembang.

HD explained that as many as 230 people were registered from various journalist organizations, and for this first batch, 59 people were vaccinated.

“Next, it will be done in stages”, explained HD.

HD also added that in the near future vaccinations would be carried out for all caregivers, boarding school supervisors who are members of the Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) and other Ponpes organizations.

“After that we will rush the teachers, school principals and lecturers just waiting for the vial vaccination to be sufficient,” HD added.

After the vaccination of the lecturers is done later, HD will also invite the epidemiologists and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) to discuss the gradual implementation of offline schools,

“So that what children desire to go back to school can soon be realized”, said HD.

In addition, HD asked fellow journalists to become speakers (voices) to the public that vaccines can give confidence.

Closing his remarks HD hopes that in the holy month of Ramadan, tarawih prayers can be carried out.

This activity was also attended by the Chief Editor (Pimred) Sumatra Ekspres, Nurseri Marwah, Chief Executive of the Sumsel Tribun, Wenny Ramdiastuti, Chair of the South Sumatra Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI), Ardiansyah Nugraha.
