South Sumatra, Covid-19 Patient has now increased to 16 People

PALEMBANG, TheIndonesiaPost – Malignancy of the Corona or Covid-19 virus is taking its toll again. In South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, Sunday (5/4/2020), the number of positive patients infected with Covid-19 increased by four people. So, the positive people of South Sumatra became 16 people.

Covid-19 Spokesperson in South Sumatra Province, Yusri, revealed that four people who tested positive were 28-year-old male from Lubuklinggau City, 40-year-old male from Palembang City, 54-year-old woman and 61-year-old woman in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKU).

“The positive patient from Lubuklinggau City is an import case because the concerned has just returned from Jakarta. Meanwhile, three other new patients are local cases,” Yusri said.

Spokesman of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force in South Sumatra Province, Achmad Zen, confirmed the confirmation of the addition of positive patients to Covid-19. However, he also said that there was one patient who tested positive for the Corona virus, and was now declared cured.

“One people under surveillance Covid-19 patient from Palembang City was recovered as a female, aged 52, positive patient number 12,” Achmad Zen said.

Therefore, the highest number of Covid-19 positive patients in South Sumatra Province came from Prabumulih City (6 patients), Palembang City (4 patients), third position from OKU District (3 patients), followed by fourth in Ogan Komering Ilir District (2 people), the last position was occupied by Lubuklinggau City by 1 patient.
