Semarang, The Indonesia Post – Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said that five children suffering from acute kidney failure and undergoing medical treatment at the hospital were continuously monitored for their health.
“Now we are continuously monitoring patients with acute kidney failure. A child suffering from kidney failure is from Central Java, but is being treated at Doctor Sardjito Hospital in Yogyakarta,” he said in Semarang, Tuesday.
He said that he had instructed the Central Java Health Office to continue to collect data on patients with acute kidney disease who were treated in hospitals and health services.
According to him, this is necessary so that treatment can be carried out properly and quickly.
“Thus, we can know those who are indicated for acute kidney failure so that they can respond quickly and be taken directly to the laboratory, so that our treatment is not wrong,” he said.
However, Ganjar did not specify which districts/cities the five children with acute kidney failure came from, only one of them is currently undergoing treatment at Dr Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta.
“I asked for everything to be recorded, from the notes of approximately five children, then I asked all existing health care providers to take good notes so that we could understand,” he said.
On the other hand, the number one person in Central Java also continues to intensify socialization to the public regarding drugs that are advised by the central government not to be consumed.
“The government has issued an advisory for certain types of drugs not to be used,” he said. (mhn/bbs)
