Khofifah Immediately Issues Large-scale Social Restrictions Regulation for Surabaya

Surabaya, TheIndonesiaPost – Determination of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) for the Surabaya region and the surrounding area seems to be just a matter of time.

The Governor of East Java (East Java) Khofifah Indar Parawansa is currently completing the governor regulation (Pergub) implementing PSBB in the City of Surabaya, Sidoarjo Regency, Gresik Regency.

At present this regulation has been carried out by a team together with the East Java Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) since Sunday (19/4).

“In the provincial government, we finalized the Governor’s Regulation. From the governor’s regulation, the draft from Sunday night, Monday night was finalized by the team and from Forkopimda, East Java Province,” Khofifah said sent from CNNIndonesia, Tuesday (4/21) night.

Khofifah invited her party to make a presentation on the planning of the hospital to the Regional Secretary of Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik. This coordination is important so that the regulations of the mayor and the regents can be in harmony with the governing regulation.

“Our hope is that what is in rapergub connects in line with guardians and district offices,” she said.

The Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto has approved the implementation of the PSBB in the Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik regions. The three regions will be the first in East Java to conduct PSBB in removing the coronavirus.

Supply Reagents to Airlangga University

On the other hand, Khofifah claimed to be bringing reagents related to laboratory polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests to meet the needs of the Tropical Disease Institute (ITD) Airlangga University (Unair), Surabaya.

She claimed to have communicated with the Head of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, Lieutenant General Doni Monardo. According to Khofifah, this reagent will arrive today.

“It’s easy to arrive (today) sick or at night, it can arrive in Surabaya, so what is needed by the Airlangga University ITD team [fulfilled], said Khofifah.

Chairman of ITD Airlangga University, Prof. Maria Lucia Inge Lusida is grateful for the help of the East Java Provincial Government for paying attention to the supply of reagents in handling this coronavirus.

Previously, ITD Airlangga University Surabaya, reportedly had run out of stock of the PCR test kit for coronavirus detection reagents. PCR swab test examination at Surabaya Airlangga University Hospital.
