Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – The Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah asked all students who have completed their education abroad to return to Indonesia to develop Indonesia according to their respective competencies.
“Recently, many Indonesian students have changed their citizenship in order to live and work abroad,” said Minister Ida in his official statement in Jakarta, Sunday.
When presenting an event titled “Return to Homeland after Study” which was held by the World Association of Indonesian Students (PPI) today, Ida said that the opportunities and opportunities for PPI members to work in various countries of the world are getting wider.
Especially in line with improved regulations and the government’s focus on expanding job opportunities in all fields, and there are many special vacancies in state-owned enterprises and civil servants for the diaspora and students studying abroad.

Unfortunately, he admitted that he felt uncomfortable after hearing that there were scholarship recipients who were reluctant to return to Indonesia.
Even though the government has tried its best to improve the welfare system in all fields, including in the fields of employment and education, so that the nation’s generation wants to return to building the country.
“All of this is done by the government so that the nation’s best talents abroad want to return to help build the country,” he said.
On that occasion, Ida told PPI world students that one of the government’s efforts that they could take advantage of when they returned to Indonesia was a young talent development program at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
Through this program, the Ministry of Manpower optimizes the human resources of the millennial generation and generation Z to become a superior and competitive generation by holding Talent Scouting, Talent Fast, Talent Corner and Talent Class.
Minister Ida explained that the digital ecosystem platform for employment services that PPI world can access, such as skillhub for competence development, certihub for certification, Karirhub for job vacancies to Bizhub for becoming entrepreneurs with connections to training, mentoring, business networking and financing.
“The government cannot prevent someone from making choices in his life, working and living. But it would be better if we together build the Indonesian nation to be more advanced,” he said. (mhn/bbs)
