Acting Governor attends Plenary Meeting LXXXVIII (88) of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi attended the Level II Discussion of the LXXXVIII (88) Plenary Meeting of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD with the Agenda, Submission of the Report on the Results of the Discussion and Research of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Budget Committee on the Draft Regional Regulation on Changes to the South Sumatra Provincial APBD for the 2024 Fiscal Year at the Plenary Meeting Room of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, (3/9/2024).

on that occasion in her speech Elen did not forget to give the highest appreciation to the South Sumatra Athletes who are participating in the XXI National Sports Week (PON XXI) in Aceh and North Sumatra 2024.

“As the Acting Governor of South Sumatra representing all government agencies in the Province of South Sumatra, I express my highest appreciation to the Athletes who have fought in the XXI National Sports Week (PON XXI) in Aceh and North Sumatra 2024 which until today South Sumatra is ranked 7th (seventh) in the temporary standings,” said Elen

in the plenary meeting Elen said that on September 2, 2024 the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Sumatra Province had conveyed the development of the national economy and the province of South Sumatra, including the development of inflation, farmer exchange rates, development of exports/imports and tourism.

“This is important for us to convey as part of the implementation of the South Sumatra provincial government’s programs and activities for the remainder of the 2024 budget year which will be stated and stated in the draft regional regulation on changes to the South Sumatra provincial revenue and expenditure budget for the 2024 budget year,” explained Elen

From the data submitted by BPS, inflation in South Sumatra Province in August to July 2024 or month to month experienced deflation of 0.19% where this deflation is higher than the national deflation of 0.03%, thus deflation in South Sumatra year on year was 1.80% which is lower than the national inflation which reached 2.12%.

Elen and all levels of the South Sumatra Provincial Government expressed their highest gratitude and appreciation to all leaders and members of the South Sumatra Provincial People’s Representative Council who are members of the Deliberative Body, Budget Body, and Commissions who have worked hard.

The Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province, Edward Candra and the Heads of OPDs within the South Sumatra Provincial Government were also present. (ojn/ril)
