Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The hope of the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru to Make Sriwijaya Science Techno Park a Research Center, Research and Educative Agro-tourism Center in South Sumatra was conveyed when he inaugurated the Sriwijaya Science Techno Park.
In his speech, HD admitted that he would not come back to Sriwijaya Science Techno Park if there had not been any changes in development from his last working visit last year.
“I really appreciate what the South Sumatra Province Balitbangda has done. Sriwijaya Science Techno Park was built as a bait for researchers, researchers to develop the potential in the fields of plantations and animal husbandry. “ Said HD.
Continued HD, that’s why Sriwijaya Science Techno Park is presented as the epicenter of the youth’s enthusiasm for research, research which can produce new innovations in the world of plantations and livestock.
“To attract the interest of young people and the community, here can also be built as a place for educational agro-tourism,” said Deru.
Regent Ogan Ilir Panca Wijaya Akbar expressed his gratitude for the assistance in building roads in Bakung Village as well as assistance in building facilitation at Sriwijaya Science Techno Park. He hoped that the Governor’s assistance, which has been running in the past year, will continue.
The handover of 10 Brahma cows from BPTUPT was also carried out to the Governor of South Sumatra to be submitted to Sriwijaya Science Techno Park.
HD also provides assistance to farmer groups in the form of agricultural tools.
