Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) directly led Briefing to hold the Tracer and Covid-19 Vaccine troops in order to check the readiness of Babinkamtibmas, Babinsa; police and health workers designated as Tracer and Vaccine Troops.
At the opportunity, HD said that in the next few days vaccinations would be carried out for traders, starting with the traders of Pasar Cinde, Palembang.
According to him, apart from health protocols as an effort to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission, vaccination is also important to achieve group immunity and protect public health. For that, HD invites all levels of society to support the increase in vaccination to a maximum of above 80 percent.
HD explained, The task of the Tracer Company and the Valsinator Company was to directly monitor if anyone was exposed but not reported to immediately cooperate with health workers to take actions to be taken whether isolation in hospital or independent isolation.
“For the vaccinators themselves, there are more than 3,000 health workers who have been trained to become vaccinators, even in every Puskesmas there. We should be grateful that the biggest enemy has subsided, namely hoaxes because the people themselves have begun to understand the examples given by the leaders in South Sumatra, “said HD.
