HD invites the public to strengthen ‘Hablum Minallah and Hablum Minannas’

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru invited the public to continue to strengthen the relationship between God and Human or in Arabic; Hablum Minallah and Hablum Minannas. According to him, this is very important especially when conditions like this are due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“As a result of Covid-19, there have been many impacts for us, starting from the economy, social, health and others, but do not despair, because this is a test for all of us, what is important is that we have to strengthen Hablum Minallah and Hablum Minannas,” said HD when do Friday safari at Al-Ikhlas Sukadamai Mosque Jalan Lubuk Kawah, Palembang City, Friday (12/3).

Therefore, he invited local residents to continue praying so that the Covid-19 pandemic would end soon so that activities could be carried out as usual.

“We must fight Covid-19, we must remain productive, so we pray that this will end soon,” said HD.

On this occasion Herman Deru admitted that his presence was not only to be able to pray in congregation Friday, this moment was used to be able to stay in touch, as well as to see the condition of the surrounding residents. “I am here to gather and see the surrounding conditions. Alhamdulillah, I see that the local roads are already good, ”said HD.

HD also provided assistance for the construction of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque to be increased in order to increase the capacity of the congregation.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Naprizal Zaidan who was represented by the Secretary of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Hendri thanked the Governor Herman Deru for taking the time to attend and pray in congregation. “We thank the Governor for his attention and assistance for the construction of this mosque,” he said.

He explained that the current condition of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque has a size of 12 × 12 square meters. And it was established about 3 years ago. This mosque can be established thanks to the mutual cooperation of the surrounding community. (ojn/ril)
