HD Invites Romania and the Republic of Moldova to Exchange Knowledge and Technology with South Sumatra

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru received a visit from the Indonesian Ambassador to Romania and the Republic of Moldova along with the Romanian Delegation in the context of the Related Cooperation, Mission, and Investment of Romanian Entrepreneurs in South Sumatra.

HD welcomed the visit of the Indonesian Ambassador to Romania and the Republic of Moldova and the Romanian delegation. He revealed that South Sumatra is an area rich in natural resources and human resources, with productivity that is very likely to be exchanged between the two countries which have also happened so far, both state policies and several provinces in Indonesia.

“As the Governor, I am more interested in (transfer of knowledge) to exchange knowledge and technology because there are already lots of resources here so that I can get better optimized,” he said.

The reason is more interested in exchanging knowledge is not without reason, considering that South Sumatra is a rubber supplying province in Indonesia by 30%, and coffee products rank number 3 in the world, ranging from robusta, arabica and liberica coffee. This is why HD is more interested in exchanging knowledge and technology.

“I will emphasize, South Sumatra wants knowledge so that it can share the knowledge gained for farmers and breeders in South Sumatra. I hope that later we will make several agreements in other fields, including education or others, “he said.

The Indonesian Ambassador to Romania and Moldova Amhar Azeth said that this visit was an implementative one. The cooperation offered is in the form of weather engineering tools, water treatment, cattle breeding / fattening, waste management, whether converted into energy, fertilizer or others. (rma/ril)
