Moeldoko: The situation is extraordinary, the minister is asked to focus on public services

Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko said that President Joko Widodo had emphasized that under extraordinary conditions (extraordinary) ministers focused on public services.

“The President’s instructions are very clear, not only yesterday, but long before the President always emphasized that the current situation is an unusual situation, a situation that must be addressed more than ‘extraordinary’ because the global situation indeed affects domestic conditions,” said Moeldoko in Jakarta, Thursday.

Moeldoko said this when answering a reporter’s question whether President Jokowi had communicated directly with the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan regarding the news campaigning for his son in Lampung.

“For this reason, the President always emphasizes that ministers must be concerned about providing services to the public,” added Moeldoko.

Moeldoko said the statement was not for certain ministers, but for all members of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

“I’m not speaking individually, but more on the President’s emphasis on all ministers,” said Moeldoko.

President Joko Widodo on Tuesday (12/7) stated that his ministers focus on work, including the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, should be able to lower the price of cooking oil.
