South Sumatra Legislative Council Chairperson Receives Gathering Visit of South Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office

Palembang, The Indonesia Post –  Friday (28/07/2023) was a special moment for the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD), Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., for receiving a friendly visit from the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office (Kajati), Mr. Sarjono Turin, S.H., M.H., at the Head Office of the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD. This meeting aims to discuss the synergy between the two important institutions in law enforcement efforts in this province.

A friendly visit made by the South Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Sarjono Turin, to the position house of the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, became the public spotlight on Friday, July 28, 2023. Her arrival aims to strengthen cooperation and synergy between the South Sumatra DPRD and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office in an effort to enforce the law and eradicate corruption in this province.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Ms. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, expressed the importance of close coordination between the DPRD and the High Court in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of each institution. He stated, “We are always open to strengthening relations with the High Court in terms of making law enforcement efforts more effective and fair in South Sumatra.”

On the other hand, the South Sumatra Prosecutor, Sarjono Turin, welcomed the good cooperation between the DPRD and the High Court. He stated, “We hope that this collaboration will have a positive impact on eradicating corruption and other criminal acts in this province. Let’s unite to provide justice for the people of South Sumatra.”

Talking about efforts to eradicate corruption, Mr. Sarjono Turin also emphasized his commitment to fighting corruption at the provincial level. “Corruption is a common enemy, and we are ready to take firm action against anyone involved in acts of corruption,” he said.

This meeting was also an opportunity for both parties to discuss crucial issues related to the development and welfare of the people in South Sumatra. In this context, the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati hopes that the presence of the DPRD and the High Court can bring them closer to the community and make a more tangible contribution to regional progress.

However, this friendly visit is not the only step that will be taken by the South Sumatra DPRD and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office. Both parties plan to hold regular meetings to strengthen coordination and evaluation regarding law enforcement efforts in the province.

In addition, it is hoped that the synergy between the DPRD and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office will also have a positive impact on improving the legal system and supervision at the local level. The hope, in the future, acts of corruption can be minimized and the community can benefit from a just development.
