Sri Mulyani entrusted Rp. 11.5 Trillion to BPD

Jakarta, TheIndonesiaPost – The government decided to place state funds in regional development banks (BPD). There are four BPDs that have been entrusted by government money in recovering the Indonesian economy.

“We want BPD to be able to provide low-cost credit to the business sector so that it can generate its business, especially in the regions,” he said.

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani said that she had deposited Rp11.5 trillion in government money in the BPD. The fourth breakdown of BPD is Bank DKI, Bank Jabar Banten (bjb), Bank of Central Java, and Bank of North Sulawesi which is considered to require liquidity.

“Today, the signatures of West Java, DKI, Central Java, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, the total budget for the BPD budget is around Rp 11.5 trillion,” she said in a virtual video, (27/7).

PT Bank Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk (BJBR) received IDR2.5 trillion, DKI Bank got IDR2 trillion, Central Java Bank as much as IDR2 trillion, and Bank Sulutgo got IDR1 trillion. She continued in the distribution of these funds there were no conditions except to have to extend credit to productive sectors. So that economic recovery can be done quickly.

At the moment there are also 3 BPD which are still being studied. The 3 BPDs are, Bank Bali and Bank Yogyakarta are still under study which will later be given funds of Rp1 trillion each and East Java BPD of 2 trillion. (ojn / bbs)
