Once again, the key is speed at work, especially during a pandemic like now when many people lose their jobs, ”said President Jokowi virtually from the Bogor Presidential Palace, Friday, when inaugurating the signing of the Tender Package / Early Selection Contract for the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing for the 2021 Fiscal Year. .
President Jokowi appreciates the PUPR Ministry because since October 2020 it has started a tender or auction selection process for implementation in 2021. Until January 15, 2021, said the President, the PUPR Ministry has auctioned off 209 work packages worth IDR 2.1 trillion and 982 work packages worth IDR 12.5 trillion.
However, he said, there were still quite a lot of work packages at the PUPR Ministry that had not yet been auctioned.
“Therefore, I ask the Minister of PUPR (Basuki Hadimuljono) to accelerate it so that in the first quarter all packages have been tendered and the contracts have been signed. This is important, ”said the President.
The President reminded that currently government officials must work quickly. Government officials must be aware that currently Indonesia is still hit by an economic and health crisis.
