‘Blusukan’ to Traditional Markets, Feby Deru Distributes PPE

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Again, the South Sumatra Governor’s wife, Feby Deru enter certain places to find out something (Blusukan) to traditional markets, Feby Deru distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) For traders and street vendors in 4 markets (pasar) namely Pasar Padang Selasa, pasar Gubah, pasar Soak Bato, dan pasar Cinde.

In accordance with the health protocol during the covid-19 pandemic, the public was asked to use masks when doing activities outside the home to protect themselves from diseases and prevent transmission of the disease.

However, in recent times, it is uncommon to find people or some people using face shields  when doing outdoor activities.

Departing from this as well as an adaptation of the new order, after previously distributing PPE in the form of masks and face shields in the Kebon Semai market and Sekip Ujung on Friday, today Monday (6/29) TP PKK South Sumatra Chairperson Feby Deru accompanied by Deputy Chairman 1 TP PKK South Sumatra Fauziah Mawardi Yahya blusukan to 4 traditional markets, namely Pasar Padang Selasa, pasar Gubah, pasar Soak Bato, dan pasar Cinde  to distribute PPE to traders.

In the Padang market (pasar padang) on Tuesday, Feby Deru together with Fauziah Mawardi Yahya distributed 280 PPE, in the Gubah market as many as 95 PPE were distributed, while in the Soak Bato market there were 217 PPE for traders and 26 PPE for street vendors, while in Cinde as much as 191 PPE. The division of PPE itself is a collaboration between TP PKK Sumsel and the South Sumatra covid-19 Task Force team in the economic field.

With no boredom, Feby Deru appealed and asked traders to adhere to the health protocol during the covid-19 pandemic especially when doing activities outside the home. (ojan/rel)
