Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Tohir decided to fire the President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Edi Sukmoro from his position.
The dismissal was stated in the Decree of the Minister of SOE in SK-142 / MBU / 05/2020 concerning the Dismissal, Transfer of Tasks, and Appointment of Directors of PT KAI Company.
In his letter, Erick also overhauled other directors. Among others Amrozi Hamidi from his position as Director of Planning, Strategic and Business Development, Dody Budiawan who sat in the chair of the Director of Commerce and Ruli Adi as Director of Human Resources and General.
With this overhaul, Erick appointed Didiek Hartantyo, who previously served as KAI’s Finance Director, to become the President Director of the company. In addition, the chair of the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development is now filled by Jeffrie N Korompis.
Erick also appointed Rivan Achmad Purwantono to hold the position of Director of Finance, Maqin U Norhadi as Director of Commerce, and Agung Yunanto as Director of Human Resources and General Affairs.
“For those who still hold positions in other positions that are prohibited by statutory regulations to be held concurrently with the position of directors of SOEs, the person concerned must resign or be dismissed from that position,” Erick wrote quoted from CNNIndonesia.com Friday (8/5). (ojan/bbs)
