According to the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament, Muhaimin Iskandar, the House representative formed the DPR-RI Supervisory Team.
“The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia officially formed a supervisory team whose task was to ensure the budget implementation of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. Supervision from the institutional, regulatory and disaster mitigation aspects can be on target and effective, “said Muhaimin Iskandar, at a press conference on Thursday (04/09/2020).
According to Cak Imin, Muhaimin Iskandar’s nickname, the team formed focused on overseeing the government’s tasks in carrying out trillions of rupiah in budget, and the government’s role in serving the community to prepare for Coronavirus Covid-19. “The use of non-natural natural disaster budget must be fast and effective according to emergency or emergency needs,” said Cak Imin.
Supervision carried out by the DPR-RI supervisory team, continued Muhaimin, not only oversight of the implementation of the budget in the Central Government but also the implementation of the budget in the provinces of Indonesia. “Supervision is also carried out on the implementation of the budget in the regions, especially in coordination with provincial governments throughout Indonesia. In fact, coordination extends to districts/cities whose regions are Covid-19 Red Zones, “Muhaimin said.
He said, the supervision was not only on the implementation of the budget, but also on the procurement of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in the Ministries and Institutions, and in the provincial government. “The implementation of programs and activities in the implementation of Coronavirus Covid-19 in Indonesia, including procurement, hospitals, personal protection equipment, even related to its impact,” said Muhaimin (ray / asm).
