Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru invited all parties to have action, concern and commitment to increasing empowerment efforts and attention to the elderly (Elderly) through various government, development, and community programs.
HD expressed the invitation during a visit in the framework of a visit to the Elderly Social Home “Our Hope” at the Tresna Werdha Nursing Home, Palembang.
“My presence here wants to see first hand the services of the officers as well as the health conditions and the needs for the building where the elderly live. We hope that in 1442 H, we pray for each other so that we will be blessed by Allah SWT and full of blessings” said HD.
He also plans to build and repair both rooms and rooms so that everything looks neat as a form of concern for the elderly.
On that occasion HD reviewed and saw the room directly and chatted with the elderly and provided gifts and food to break the fast.
Head of the Harapan Kita Social Institution, Edi Khaidir, said that this orphanage is based in India and has branches as the Coordinator for Palembang, Lubuk Linggau and Musirawas. (mhn/ril)
