Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province held the 11th Plenary Meeting in order to Submit the Report on the Results of the Discussion and Research of the Special Committee (Pansus) on the Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) of the Governor of South Sumatra for the 2024 Fiscal Year.
The meeting was led directly by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Andie Dinialdie, accompanied by the Deputy Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Raden Gempita, H Novianto, M. Ilyas Panji Alam and was also attended by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra, H Cik Ujang and the ranks of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), as well as all DPRD members from various factions.
In the meeting, each Special Committee presented the results of their discussions and research on the South Sumatra Governor’s LKPJ which included an evaluation of the performance of the Provincial Government’s programs and activities throughout the 2024 budget year and received the results of the 2024 LKPJ report.
The Chairperson of the DPRD in his remarks said that the reports that had been prepared by each Special Committee were a form of research results and supervision by the DPRD on the implementation of regional government, which became material for evaluation and improvement in the preparation of future work programs.
“LKPJ is not just an administrative report, but a reflection of the accountability of the performance of regional heads. Through discussions that can provide constructive input for improving better governance.
The Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru, represented by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H Cik Ujang, in his response expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the DPRD Special Committee in conducting a comprehensive study and evaluation. The Plenary Meeting was led by the Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Andie Dinialdie, accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Raden Gempita, H Novianto, M. Ilyas Panji Alam.
He stated that he was ready to follow up on the recommendations submitted in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government.
The results of the recommendations from each Special Committee will be used as strategic considerations in preparing the regional government work plan in the following years. (ojn/ril)
