Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of South Sumatra Province, Edward Candra, along with all Regents and Mayors throughout South Sumatra officially signed the minutes and submitted the Unaudited Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year to the Audit Board (BPK) Representative Office of South Sumatra Province on Tuesday (31/3/2026).
Submission of this report is a manifestation of the regional government’s commitment to fulfilling its constitutional obligations regarding transparency and accountability in state financial management.
In his remarks, the Head of the South Sumatra II Audit Division, Cendy Avrian, SE, M.Sc., CFE, CertDA, explained that the Unaudited LKPD is a crucial document as a form of accountability for the implementation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
“This report is prepared by the Regional Government and must be submitted to the BPK for an audit before becoming the final financial report,” said Cendy.
Submitted Report Components The
submitted financial reports include seven main components in accordance with government accounting standards, namely the Budget Realization Report (LRA), Financial Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Report (LAK), Notes to the Financial Statements (CaLK), Operational Report (LO), Equity Change Report (LPE), and the Budget Surplus Balance Change Report (SAL).
The presence of regional leaders in this agenda emphasized the strong synergy between the provincial government, district/city governments, and the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK RI) in realizing clean and accountable financial governance in the South Sumatra region.
Cendy said that with the submission of the Unaudited LKPD, the BPK audit team will immediately follow up with a detailed audit in the field to provide an opinion on the fairness of each region’s financial reports.
The event was also attended by heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the South Sumatra Provincial Government. (mhn/ril)
