Ustad Opat Call Herman Deru As The First Governor of South Sumatra Pay Attention To Bayt Al Qur’an Al Akbar

Jakarta, TheIndonesiaPost  – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru was called as the first governor to pay special attention to the continuation of the Al Qur’an Al-Bayt bayt located in Jalan M Amin Fauzi Kelurahan Suak Bujang Kecamatan Gandus, Palembang.

This was conveyed directly by the Initiator and Author of Bayt Al Quran Al Akbar, H Syofwatillah Mohzaib interrupted his remarks when reopening the religious attractions of Bayt Al Quran Al Akbar, Saturday (18/7).

According to him, since the completion of the manufacture of Al Qur’an Al Akbar bayt in 2009, no Governor has given serious attention to the religious tourism sites.

“In its history, since the Al Qur’an Al Akbar was established. There has not been a Governor of South Sumatra who has given such serious attention. Governor Herman Deru was the first paid attention. Not only against the Bayt Al Qur’an Al Akbar, but the attention was given to the existing Islamic boarding school (pesantren). in South Sumatra, “said the cleric who is familiarly called ustad Opat.

He even admitted, Governor Herman Deru also did not hesitate to come down directly in religious activities held by the community.

“This proves that the governor is serious about his program who wants a religious South Sumatra. He is helping in religious activities like this,” he explained.

Because, continued Opat, it will also encourage programs that have been launched by the South Sumatra Provincial Government specifically in the field of religion such as the one village one Tahfidz program.

“Not only us, but the Indonesian Islamic boarding school students (santri) network in South Sumatra will also support the program being implemented by the South Sumatra Provincial Government. We also give appreciation for the assistance given by the Governor and the South Sumatra Provincial Government,” he explained.

South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru does have a commitment to bring South Sumatra into a more religious area. Only one religious program at this time continues to be carried out in one of the villages of one Tahfidz house. The program is to eradicate the illiteracy of the Qur’an.

“Do not let the successor of this nation be illiterate the Qur’an. To understand us, make a village one house tahfidz,” said HD.

South Sumatra itself is said to be the first province to have a board of trustees of the Tahfidz House that is well coordinated.

“That way we expect South Sumatra to be religious and produce young people who are able to read or memorize the Koran,” he said. (mhn/rel)
