This was agreed upon in the launching of the collaboration between the Mitra Tani Market / Indonesian Farmer Shop Center (TTIC) South Sumatra and Gojek Palembang at the South Sumatra Province Food and Animal Security Service, Tuesday (1/9).
Even though during the Covid-19 pandemic, the South Sumatra Provincial Government continued to pay attention to the public by providing cheap groceries of the highest quality.
South Sumatra Provincial Secretary Nasrun Umar, in this case, gives the highest appreciation to the South Sumatra Province Food Security and Animal Husbandry Service, because during the Covid-19 pandemic the most felt was the economic impact on all levels of society.
“Where this extraordinary initiation or breakthrough has created food availability for people who really need it in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic at affordable prices and of the best quality while providing opportunities for Gojek,” he said.
After the Covid-19 pandemic, Nasrun assessed that there were limitations by following the health protocol rules. Therefore, according to him, there is a way and strategy by utilizing technology and information to meet the adaptation of new habits.

In the implementation of this collaboration, Nasrun Umar appealed to the Food and Animal Husbandry Department to monitor the goods to be distributed, so that these goods are quality goods and are suitable for consumption by the community at an affordable price.
He also asked Gojek to maintain health protocols in carrying out their duties. This also assures the public that the goods are guaranteed to be good.
Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sumatra Province Food and Animal Security Service Taufik Gunawan added that he has provided quality food at an affordable price which is set at Rp. 8,500 per kilo and this is the lowest price in Indonesia.
According to him, the maintenance of quality basic food at low prices is because the South Sumatra Province, apart from a rice surplus, the farmers are also ready to provide this rice food. In addition to rice, said Taufik, there are also granulated sugar, eggs, onion / white, cooking oil and fruits.
“Even though there are limitations because in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the role of online marketing is that people can buy what we provide here through the GoJek application and it does not affect the selling price, because the cost is borne by us. At the same place, Gojek Chairman Kenn Lazuardi Syanubi confirmed that the day had started to launch a collaboration with the Provincial Food Security and Animal Husbandry Service related to the Mitra Tani Market and delivery to the people of Palembang City for free and served on the gojek / gofood application.

In fact, he continued, this collaboration was initiated by the Central Ministry with Gojek and followed up with the regions. For the island of Sumatra, there are three provinces, including the provinces of South Sumatra, Lampung and Riau.
