Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra has at least 3,500 Tahfidz houses that are evenly spread across 17 districts/cities through a program conducted by the local government “One Village, One Tahfidz House”.
South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru in Palembang, Saturday, said the program that has been running for two years is fairly evenly distributed because it is comparable to the number of villages and sub-districts in 17 regencies/cities in South Sumatra.
Even so, the South Sumatra Provincial Government continues to make efforts to make additions as has been done in Banyuasin Regency.
Recently the Tahfidz Al-Fath House was established in the Griya Dita Complex, Mariana Village, Banyuasin I District.
“I want the existence of this tahfidz house to be a place for the spread of Islam and the most important thing because it was built from community self-help. Make people believe to leave their children to be educated in this place, “he said.
For this reason, the tahfidz house administrators must be optimal in using the method of memorizing the Koran so that students can memorize quickly.
The coach of Majelis Al-Fath, Majelis Nurul Jannah, Ustadz Muhammad Fatham Mubina, said that the Tahfidz Al-Fath house that was built was the result of self-help and assistance from donors and the surrounding community.
“Alhamdulillah, within 10 months of this tahfidz house, our students have memorized the Qur’an between 1 and 4 juz,” he said. (ray/ril)
