Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) attended the Inauguration of the Management of the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) for the 2020-2025 term, inaugurated directly by the Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anindya Novyan Bakrie at the Santika Premiere Hotel Palembang Airport.
Starting his remarks, HD congratulated the Chairman of the South Sumatra KADIN, Dr. H. Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin and other members because they have been entrusted to be the board of the South Sumatra KADIN.
HD also hopes that with the inauguration of the South Sumatra KADIN, the South Sumatra KADIN can become a forum for business actors, both large and small.
“The hope is that the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the future can protect every businessman in South Sumatra,” said HD.
Regarding the support conveyed by KADIN Indonesia and KADIN South Sumatra regarding the acceleration of the development of the Tanjung Carat port that was conveyed. HD welcomes this, considering that this is an indispensable requirement for entrepreneurs in South Sumatra to distribute their wares.
Related to the issue of rice imports. HD hopes that the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the regions can give voice to the central government in order to absorb as much bulog rice as possible.
“I hope the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and South Sumatra can give voice to the central government to absorb as much bulog rice as possible. If necessary, the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce can make a scheme so that we can export rice”, said HD.
In addition, HD also hopes that the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce and Industry can participate in providing innovations in the industrial sector and not leaving small business players in South Sumatra.
