Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru launched the Comfortable and Joyful Mainstay Tourism Informative Genta application (Giwang), which is an innovation from the South Sumatra Provincial Government through the Prov. Culture and Tourism Office.
South Sumatra in responding to the challenges of the times in promoting the world of tourism and culture as well as traditional culinary which is owned by South Sumatra Province to the wider community.
HD requested that the Culture and Tourism Office of the South Sumatra Province, be able to provide an assessment of the tourist attractions owned by standardization that considers the completeness of facilities, signals, internet networks, comfort, security and road access.
HD also requested that there be continuous promotions so that the Giwang application can be heard and conveyed by all South Sumatran people and Indonesian people who want to visit South Sumatra.
Meanwhile, the Head of Budpar of South Sumatra Province, DR. Aufa Syahrizal, S.P, M.Sc explained that this application was created to answer the challenges of the times and provide complete information about tourism, culinary, culture and other local wisdom.
On the same virtual occasion, Deputy for Tourism Products and Activities Organizers of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Rizki Handayani said this was an innovation that was urgently needed at this time. Giwang is the right innovation for the need for information related to culture, tourism and culinary as well as traditional products in South Sumatra,” he said. (mhn/jek/ril)
