Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The South Sumatra Provincial Government is one of 10 provinces in Indonesia to receive an award for the timely follow-up of the results of the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The other nine provinces are Central Java, DIY Yogyakarta, Lampung, Bali, Central Sulawesi, Riau, DKI, Banten, and South Kalimantan.
The award was received by the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru along with other Governors virtually by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian at the National Regional Government Implementation Meeting (RAKORWASDANAS) and the Launching of Synergy Management with the Monitoring Center Prevention (MCP) for Corruption Prevention organized by the Indonesian KPK.
“This award is given to 10 provinces in Indonesia which are considered timely in following up on any findings related to assets, governance and so on made by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs,” said HD.
According to HD in the future, there must be an increase in welfare for the ranks. Because the beginning of the fraud is usually unless the intention is out of necessity. So how to reduce it even though it is not generalized, the welfare of the ranks will be of special concern.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, congratulated the heads of 10 regions for completing the supervision carried out by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs in a timely manner.
“I hope these 10 regions will be consistent, punctual in the future, and at the same time can be an example and motivation for other regions to be on time as well,” he said.
On that occasion also the Chairperson of the Indonesian KPK, Firli Bahuri, conveyed about the MCP as one of the instruments in eradicating corruption in the regions. And the Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, Ak., M.B.A., conveyed about MCP in the government’s internal control framework.
The Minister of Home Affairs also inaugurated the Inspectorate General Information System for Supervision (Siwasiat).
