Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) attended the inauguration of the DPD of the Indonesian Security Guard Professional Association (APSI) South Sumatra for the period 2021 – 2026.
The inauguration of the South Sumatra APSI DPD was carried out by the General Chair of the APSI DPP, H. Aziz Said, SE directly at the Swarna Dwipa Hotel, Palembang.
In his remarks, Aziz Said congratulated the South Sumatra APSI DPD who had just been inaugurated and inaugurated by the South Sumatra Police Chief represented by the Director of Binmas, Pol Kombes Heru Trisasono, S.IK., M.Si.
“Being a member and administrator of APSI must be able to maintain commitment to the goals of APSI itself. We also demand that Members and Management can maintain consistency in carrying out their duties as members of APSI”, he said.
He also explained that the benefits of being a member of APSI, one of which is being able to channel aspirations related to the problems and welfare of security guards who are under the auspices of APSI itself.
Meanwhile, the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru, who recently received an honorary PIN as the Advisory Board of the South Sumatra APSI, said that with the formation of the South Sumatra APSI, this is a form of motivation in giving honor to the Security Guard Profession.
“This profession is a job that is not fake, but a profession that is under the auspices of the police”, said HD.
He also suggested that APSI Sumsel could improve the intellectuality of its members by providing or participating in various training activities that could be carried out in collaboration with local governments.
“Also increase the religious value so that the South Sumatra APSI has its own characteristics”, HD added. (mhn/ril)
