HD: Spice Festival Introduces the Diversity and Potential of South Sumatra’s Spices, Makes South Sumatra a Food Independent

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The efforts of the South Sumatra Provincial Government in realizing a Food Independent South Sumatera (Sumsel) initiated by the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru are increasingly massive. The event, which was opened by the Governor of South Sumatra, H Herman Deru, was attended by TP-PKK Regency/City throughout South Sumatra. In his speech, HD appreciated the location of the event, the Textile Museum, which is a cultural heritage that must be preserved both in terms of form and function.

Regarding the bingen food exhibition that was exhibited today, which was attended by local SMEs, HD reminded ICSB of South Sumatra not to be just a coordinator, but how to trigger every effort so that it doesn’t go out of fashion without leaving local wisdom.
