Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru said, “This moment is a very important event and is a gift for all of us for achieving our shared goals in realizing the STKIP Nurul Huda campus officially turning into a university and the first in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKUT).
This was stated when providing guidance and direction for the launch of the University of Nurul Huda Sukaraja Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKUT) Virtually.
“This is a very special and first incident. I was a witness at that time as the Regent of East OKU which had a long journey and process to make it happen,” said Governor Herman Deru (HD).
HD said that when high school became a university, we still maintain the trust of the community that Nurul Huda is a place to study that is always in demand by the community and a place to gain knowledge.
“You have to maintain the trust that the community has given you and keep it. This is one of the keys in managing education,” he said.
HD added, many alumni and graduates spread across all lines and many have worked in government, private sector or business, meaning that this pesantren has a name and has the trust of the community.
